C2E2 was held this year during April 24-26. Thanks to a friend, I was able to attend both Saturday and Sunday. This was my first convention since Acen last year. I dusted off my camera gear and took a handful of photos. Click here to see my cosplay photographs from C2E2.

I went to Anime Expo this year with no photoshoots planned. However it’s always fun when the unexpected happens. One night I ran into a cosplayer and one thing led to another and the next day I had a photoshoot with her and her two friends from an anime I never heard of. XD That’s one of the best parts of Anime Conventions… meeting new people and discovering new anime.
Cosplayers: lishanshan as Himari Takakura, Sumatnam as Shōma Takakura, and SebTheNess as Kanba Takakura.

At Anime Central 2013 One More Time Cosplay debuted their Tiny Tina and Mad Moxxi Borderlands 2 cosplay along with Handsomefriskies as Handsome Jack. At Anime Central this year I was lucky to do two photoshoots with Pockytheif. Here is the photoshoot gallery of her Dave Strider cosplay from Homestuck. After the break I’ll list what gear I used and the location at the convention.
At C2E2 I bought a Panzer P.A.C. System from the wonderful people at Equilibrium USG. My main purpose for the Modular PAC System would be to carry around my lighting gear at conventions. I’m planning on stuffing it full of Speedlights, lighting modifiers, spare batteries, and… light stands.
The conundrum I had was how do I attach my light stands to the pack? I’ll explain my solution and provide pictures below the break…
